Business Awards Celebrate Building an Inclusive Economy
August 23, 2022(Toronto – August 23, 2022) – Today, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) announced that to mark the 40th anniversary of its annual Ontario Business Achievement Awards (OBAAs), this year’s theme will put a spotlight on building an inclusive economy. The OBAAs will be broadcasted nationally on TLN TV on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 3:30 pm ET.
“The Ontario Chamber of Commerce is proud to put a spotlight on building an inclusive economy to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our annual Ontario Business Achievement Awards,” said Louie Di Palma, Vice President of SME Programs, Ontario Chamber of Commerce. “As the indispensable partner of business, we are dedicated to championing businesses leading the charge on supporting prosperous communities and a strong economy.”
The OBAA broadcast is the most distinguished industry celebration in the province recognizing business success and those who support it. This year’s 40th anniversary special will feature community leaders and organizations working toward an inclusive economy. These include the CEO of the Year and Lifetime Achievement awards for exceptional leadership and those that contribute to generating opportunities for persons with disabilities, climate action, inclusive hiring and advancing digital literacy.
