Advocacy Day is an event for the Ontario Chamber Network to share  priorities, ideas, and concerns of local communities with elected and non-elected officials. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event!

The 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Convention, hosted by the Windsor-Essex, Amherstburg, and Leamington District Chambers of Commerce, is a premier gathering of business leaders from across Ontario.

This year’s theme, “Bridges, Not Barriers: Building Connected Communities and Economies,” highlights the power of collaboration in driving economic growth, emerging stronger from adversity, and securing our future competitiveness. The AGM provides a vital platform for business leaders to network, shape policy, and set the advocacy agenda for the year ahead.

The Ontario Business Advisory Council (OBAC) series brings together high-profile senior officials from the provincial and federal governments with a small group of key business stakeholders for frank and open discussions in a breakfast or lunch-style setting.

On November 21, 2023, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) and the Climate Positive Energy Initiative (CPE) at the University of Toronto hosted an in-person event focused on showcasing smart and clean tech solutions, including sustainability, smart mobility, buildings, business commerce, the energy grid, and other digital and physical infrastructure solutions relevant to Ontario’s economy.

The Ontario Business Achievement Awards (OBAAs) are the most distinguished industry celebration in the province, recognizing business success. For the fourth year, the 2023 Ontario Business Achievement Awards continued as a television broadcast and took the form of six back-to-back episodes highlighting those who are supporting Ontario’s economy.

This event is designed to bring together Ontario’s business community to engage in conversation with Ontario’s Chiefs of Staff.

The Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) was proud to join forces with the Empire Club of Canada for the launch of our 2025 Economic Outlook and Business Confidence Analysis on February 13.

The event revealed fresh data and insights on business confidence, regional economic projections, and policy priorities. The event also provided a first look at how Ontario’s businesses are preparing for 2025, focusing on key issues such as labour shortages, climate and energy policies, reconciliation, supply chain challenges, and more.
