Joaquim Ballès (Past-Chair)

Joaquim Ballès is the Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and General Counsel and member of the executive management committee of Trudell Medical Limited, a multinational, privately held, Canadian medical device parent company with head offices in London, Ontario.  In addition to English, he is also fluent in French, Spanish, and Catalan.

Past President of the Board of the London Chamber of Commerce and currently, Chair of the Global Business Opportunities Committee (London Chamber of Commerce), Vice Chair of the London Middlesex Immigration Employment Council (LMIEC), Board member of the London Community Foundation, and member of the London Medical Innovation & Commercialization Network Business Advisory Committee.

He holds several degrees, including a law degree from Queen’s University (Kingston, ON) Law School and a master in business administration from Western University (London, ON), Richard Ivey School of Business.
