Ana Pereira
Ana Pereira is a Professor in the Center for Business at George Brown College in Toronto.
An accomplished Retail Executive who has built a reputation for her expertise in areas of Retail Strategy, E-Commerce, Merchandising, Global Sourcing, Product Development, Inventory Management, Branding, and Marketing – with experience working and living in Canada and the U.S.
Ana’s diverse skillset ranges from various executive roles in the retail industry in Canada and the U.S. including extensive experience in developing retail strategy, managing departments such as buying, marketing, sourcing, product development, inventory planning and management, visual merchandising. She has also managed retail stores and operations in North America for a large specialty retailer.
From 2016 to 2018, Ana has been invited by the Ontario Chamber of Commerce to be part of the judging panel for the Ontario Business Achievement Awards. Ana has participated in the adhoc advisory committee of Yorkville University, BBA program proposed for Ontario. She has been a keynote speaker on the subject of Raising Your Small Business Brand Profile, and mentors new graduates in navigating their early career. Ana has previously taught in the Fashion Merchandising and Marketing Program at The Academy of Design.
