Ontario Chamber of Commerce Welcomes New Vice President of Member Services
August 17, 2021(Toronto – August 13, 2021) – The Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Tracy Macgregor to the role of Vice President of Member Services effective October 1.
“I am thrilled to announce that Tracy Macgregor is joining the Ontario Chamber of Commerce’s leadership team in the role of Vice President of Member Services,” said Rocco Rossi, President and CEO of the OCC. “After close to a decade serving at the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce, including in her role as President and CEO, Tracy brings her exceptional experience in both business and as an Ontario Chamber Network leader.”
Tracy joins the OCC after more than three years as President and CEO at the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce. With a focus on collaboration and strategic partnerships, she helped raise the profile of the Newmarket Chamber, delivering high value member programs and services, driving revenue and developing a strong community presence. She initially joined the Newmarket Chamber in 2012 as Business Development Manager.
“I am very excited to join the OCC leadership team and continue my career within the Ontario Chamber Network,” said Tracy Macgregor. “I believe our members have a very important role to play in supporting economic recovery and contributing to vibrant communities across Ontario. I look forward to working closely with our members and providing them with continuous support.”
Tracy’s background includes more than a decade at a business consulting firm that specialized in predictive analysis and competitive differentiation. The role gave her the opportunity to work with large corporate clients in a variety of segments helping them to identify and focus on the activities that drive value and growth. Prior to that, she spent 13 years in the tourism industry working for a rapidly growing tour operator. As part of the leadership team, her role involved participating in decisions on growth, diversification, sales, HR, marketing, government relations and more.
Tracy is active on a number of community boards and committees, including the Ontario Chamber of Commerce’s Policy & Advocacy Committee and Chamber Executives of Canada Board of Directors. She is also recognized by the Chamber Executives of Canada as an Accredited Chamber Executive – Level 3.
