Gina Scandrett
Gina Scandrett is currently the Vice President of Operations for Bourgon Construction, a mid-sized private construction company based in Kingston and Cornwall and active across Eastern Ontario.
From New Zealand, Gina immigrated to Canada in 2016, spending four years in Calgary before settling in Eastern Ontario. An enthusiastic advocate for private business activity in which economic and community benefits intersect, Gina is currently completing her fourth term on the Board of the Cornwall and Area Chamber of Commerce, where she served as President from 2022 to 2024.
With a professional background in municipal government, hospitality, small business ownership, ag-tech, and now the ICI construction sector, Gina also brings with her experience working for the Calgary Chamber of Commerce in the Communications and Policy team. In her current role, Gina is a strong supporter of expanding skilled trade education to both young people and adults looking for second careers, as well as expanding the diversity and inclusion of this sector to a broader community.
Gina holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Linguistics, both from the University of Canterbury (Christchurch, NZ), and in her spare time enjoys exploring the Eastern Ontario region with her husband and three children.
