OBAA Profile: Ontario Going Global Medium Business Award

October 11, 2016

About the Ontario Going Global Medium Business Award:

The Ontario Going Global Medium Business Award is awarded to a business that has implemented an export strategy that has positively affected its bottom line.

Finalist: Armatec Survivability Corp

Industry: Armoured Vehicle Technology

About: Armatec designs, develops and manufacturers high level technical solutions and is a proven provider of protection solutions and vehicle systems across International defense markets. Armatec’s current customer base includes the United States Marine Corps, Canadian, US and New Zealand Armies, plus a variety of Allied European nations.

What makes Armatec a leader in medium business exporting? In 2010 Armatec broke ground with a new 3,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Dorchester, Ontario. This new facility has allowed Armatec to expand their research, development, design and engineering, prototyping, manufacturing and business support capabilities, with room for future expansion.

“Armatec prides itself on employing innovative and motivated people who create superior products that consistently outperform the competition. The company’s forward thinking strategy allows Armatec to meet the needs of customers before they arise, and offer solutions that break the barrier of impossibility.”

Karl Pfister, President & CEO of Armatec Survivability Corp.
