Milton Logistics Hub Project Good for Jobs, Economy & Canada’s Supply Chain

(Toronto – January 22, 2021) – Today, Rocco Rossi, President & CEO, Ontario Chamber of Commerce released the following statement in reaction to the federal government’s approval of the Milton Logistics Hub Project.

“We welcome the federal government’s decision on the Milton Logistics Hub – a shovel-ready infrastructure project led by CN that will be critical to stimulate the economy post pandemic.

“Milton will help facilitate the delivery of everything Canadian families need to live their busy lives — from food products and medical supplies, to cars and electronics — and ensure that Canadian manufacturers can efficiently access domestic and international markets.

“This project will provide much-needed transportation capacity within Canada’s innovation corridor – the nation’s fastest-growing region.”
