Additional Regional Economic Funding Welcomed By Chamber

(Toronto – October 2, 2020) – Today, Rocco Rossi, President & CEO, Ontario Chamber of Commerce released the following statement in response to the Government of Canada’s announcement regarding additional funding support for small businesses through the Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF).

“COVID-19 is having acute and uneven impacts on different regions across Ontario and Canada, accentuating existing disparities. We welcome today’s news as many small business owners are starved for capital. The RRRF has provided much-needed support to many small businesses, particularly those ineligible for other programs.”
