Mishka Balsom
Mishka Balsom is the CEO of the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce (GNCC), where she leads initiatives to strengthen Niagara’s business environment and foster a thriving, inclusive, and sustainable region. Under her leadership, the GNCC has introduced innovative programs and strategic partnerships across Ontario and New York State, expanding its reach, influence, and impact.
A dedicated and visionary leader, Mishka has positioned the GNCC as one of Niagara’s most credible and influential business advocates. She champions collaborative solutions, adaptability, and strategic decision-making to drive meaningful change and economic growth. Actively engaged in advancing Niagara’s prosperity, she collaborates with local, provincial, and international organizations to support the business community.
Mishka has held several volunteer leadership roles, including Chair of the Niagara College Board of Governors, Advisor to the Goodman School Advisory Council at Brock University, and Vice Chair of the Chamber Executives of Ontario, among others.
Before joining the GNCC, Mishka held senior management positions in the Canadian media industry and successfully ran her own communications company. Her extensive experience and unwavering commitment to economic and community development continue to drive Niagara’s growth and long-term success.
