Brenda Whitehead

Brenda has been the CEO at the Port Hope and District Chamber of Commerce since January of 2018. Her extensive experience in community development, primarily involved with recreation, economic development and sales, have positioned her well to make impacts in the business sector. An active community volunteer Brenda has strong connections to the Port Hope area and has been described as the driving force for the Chamber’s board of directors and members. As an Accredited Chamber Executive (ACE), she is proud to lead one of the oldest chambers, ready for 150 years in 2024, and will continue to carry on it’s long history of advocacy for businesses, strong partnerships and ensure it meets the Accreditation Standards. Brenda is the Chair of the Chamber Executives of Ontario Association and is currently on the Board of the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Canada. She is an active member of the Cobourg Lions Club, helps with the front end of the JR C Port Hope Panthers and stays busy billeting players from the Jr A Cobourg Cougars. She can often be found chilling at sporting events with her husband and spending time with her two amazing adult kids and one four-legged rescue.
