Bill Stewart

Starting off in Mississauga, Bill moved with his family to Gananoque when he was just 4 years old. His first career was in broadcasting, and he stayed in that industry for 15 years. Bill then experienced a big change by joining the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce in 2008 and began working in public policy and advocating on behalf of the organization’s membership. Serving the municipality and region’s businesses is certainly an honour, a serious yet fun endeavour.
Seeing real results for Chamber members is paramount and Bill is always willing to sit down and talk with them to understand concerns and develop a viable solution to grow their success no matter the challenge. Bill finds it rewarding to serve on the OCC’s Workforce Development Committee, Policy Advisory Council and Policy (PAC) committee. His proudest Chamber moments include being asked to Chair the Ontario Chamber of Commerce’s Policy Advisory Caucus at the 2013 Canadian Chamber Annual General Meeting in Kelowna, BC and to currently serve as an at-large Director on the Ontario Chamber of Commerce’s Board.
