Policy Recommendations
Ontario’s small businesses are ready to grow, innovate, and compete. But turning vision into reality requires the right conditions for success. Throughout Small Business Week, we’ve explored the people, innovations, and opportunities that have fueled business growth across the province. These stories also highlight the barriers many entrepreneurs continue to face and the supports needed to unlock their next chapter.
Drawing on insights from businesses across Ontario, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce’s policy recommendations focus on three key priorities:
People
Supporting businesses in attracting, retaining, and developing the talent they need to grow.
Innovation
Helping businesses adopt new technologies, modernize operations, and remain competitive in a rapidly changing economy.
Growth
Creating the conditions for businesses to invest, expand, access new markets, and build long-term prosperity.
Together, these recommendations are designed to help Ontario’s small businesses build what’s possible and realize their next big vision.
