Finance Minister Peter Bethlenfalvy to deliver keynote at 2025 Ontario Economic Summit
November 17, 2025(TORONTO — November 17, 2025) — Fresh from the release of Ontario’s Fall Economic Statement, Finance Minister Peter Bethlenfalvy will deliver a keynote address at the 2025 Ontario Economic Summit (OES).
This year’s theme, Leadership Across Borders, will explore the bold leadership needed to advance economic prosperity across regions, sectors and borders in an uncertain, rapidly changing world.
“At a time when economic confidence is fragile and change is relentless, collaboration between leaders matters more than ever,” said Daniel Tisch, president and CEO of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce. “The Ontario Chamber is excited to welcome Minister Bethlenfalvy as a keynote speaker at OES 2025, an event that brings together leaders from business, government and academia to build a more inclusive and competitive economy.”
Now in its 22nd year, the Ontario Economic Summit will bring together influential voices from business, government and academia to explore how Ontario can drive prosperity through collaboration across communities, sectors and borders. From economic policy to innovation and trade, OES 2025 will serve as a platform for forging alliances, shaping policy and advancing solutions that enhance Ontario’s competitiveness on the world stage.
“Ontario is at a pivotal moment for growth and development across every sector,” Bethlenfalvy said. “Through strategic partnerships and investment, we can strengthen Ontario’s economy and create lasting opportunities for people and businesses across the province. I look forward to joining the Ontario Economic Summit again this year to share that vision.”
